2013 GU13 Strikers FC

Here's one from the fall. This was a Sunday and since I didn't have anything scheduled I popped in at a couple games to see kids play that I hadn't seen for a while. As the kids get older and better, they branch out to different club teams. Different cities too! I drove out of my normal area and shot three games, one in Newport Beach, and two in Irvine. I didn't tell any parents I was coming because I wasn't sure myself. When I arrived I learned from a team parent that I was at the right place and that my main target Jessica was injured and didn't play yesterday. I was thinking early lunch. I walked to the field anyway, just in time to see the team huddle up with Jess in uniform. Jessica blasted a goal, went toe to toe all game with a little blonde who didn't give an inch, barely missed a beautiful header, and led the team with her warrior attiuide.
