2018 Strikers FC North B03

UPDATED May 2020: I found a folder with our Las Vegas trip and another couple games. I didn’t keep a lot since this gallery has been wrapped up for over a year, but there’s about 160 new photos in the gallery.

Here’s my annual wrap up post of my son Daniel’s soccer team. Here’s the 2017 post (CLICK). The 2016 Slammers (CLICK), and the years we spent with AC Brea (CLICK). We just finished our second season with Strikers and are on a high school break now. In a couple of months we will be back together for our National Cup run. It was a tough season this year, we went 3-6-1. We beat the top team in the division but we lost games we should have won, including losing to the only two teams that finished BELOW us. Winning those two games would have given us third place in the division instead of eighth. Before our season began we realized we had four huge holes to fill: Goalie, Center Defender, Defensive Midfielder, and Striker. Mario left, Jacob’s feet, Ian’s back, and Angel was out indefinitely. We filled our goalie hole with old friend Gabe, but he only played four games before he was out for the season. Jacob tried to play in a couple games, but his pain was too much. Ian did recover and played the last 4-5 games. We added another old friend in speedy Brad up front. Tomas moved from defense to Striker and was amazing, but the offensive chemistry wasn’t the same as with Angel. We only scored 18 goals vs. 27 last season.
