2019 Yorba Linda Football REYN

I’m going to follow this kid all the way to the bigs! It’s Reyn, Freshman Quarterback of the JV Football Team. I was out for a bunch of games for the JV Squad and there’s a big gallery of teammates you can look through, but this is a post to highlight Reyn. I’ve shot him a lot the past couple of years and it’s pretty neat to see him make the jump to high school. Reyn isn’t the biggest or fastest Quarterback but he makes great decisions and throws darts and with the great protection he gets, he can run up the score. It’s hard to pick out highlights from the games I was at, but there is one play that sticks out. Things weren’t going well for the Mustangs against Villa Park. The game was out of reach and it was late, it was obvious the Mustangs would lose this one by a bunch. Someone missed a block and Reyn got smoked flat. The ball popped loose and rolled about ten yards back. Somehow Reyn got out from under this big lineman and beat him and everyone else to it, of course getting hit again. Heart.
