2021 El Dorado Cross Country Photo Day

There always seems to be a story behind the photo days. We wanted to shoot this at a park, or at least somewhere NOT the track. We just could not arrange to get the kids to gather on a weekend, or carpool on a school day. When I saw coach at the competition I said, “I’m shooting your team photo tomorrow, we’ll meet out at the track.” Her response was, “THE TRACK?!” A couple of years ago we DID do it on the track, but these kids don’t run on tracks, so I understood her response. I got there early and there were teams practicing everywhere. I set up in this little corner by the bleachers and told the kids I’d try to photoshop a little beauty into it.
