2023 Servite Baseball Photo Day

I was a lot more comfortable this year with this group. For me, shooting baseball poses is on a different level than other sports, probably because most every kid has posed for baseball pictures at some point. Whatever happens I just don’t want that Little League feeling with these, these are big boys now! I really liked what we got last year and although it’s a great field, it’s not very photogenic. We avoided home plate area as they are renovating and adding bleacher seating. I shot the groups in the outfield, but that requires removing a bunch of telephone poles and lots of wires. I can’t do that for every kid’s photo, so we went back to this spot. My son Daniel was with me on this shoot and at high sun 3pm, we managed to get a great soft lighting set up.
