2023 El Dorado Athlete SOFIA

The real deal right here! Sofia should keep me busy for the next few years, three varsity sports as a freshman! I wonder what she would have done if El Dorado hadn’t added Beach Volleyball as a sport this year. Track? Lacrosse? Softball? For volleyball she rotated into a blocker spot most of the year, but in the last couple of matches she served it up too. She’s already one of the taller girls on the basketball court and her compete level is so high, it’ll be fun to watch her battle for rebounds. Basketball is losing two key seniors who have led the team for years, Sofia is primed to take on that role. I was able to get to one beach volleyball match, they play home games at Fullerton College.
