2022 El Dorado Football GAVEN

Another senior here, so it seems fitting to highlight his retrospective collage from before high school. Gaven had been one of the main targets for El Dorado quarterbacks coming into the season. Other teams knew about him and he often drew tougher coverage than the other receivers. El Dorado worked to find weakness by spreading the ball around more this season. With the emergence of Ryan Sugar, the Hawks often ran out four very good receivers. Even so, the team leaned heavily on their running backs. Gaven may not have seen as many passes as before, but he made big plays when called upon and he took pride in his blocking and dancing! Ha. You can see him clearing the way for Isaiah below in the first game of the season.
