2023 Buchanan Grad Party

A quick break from the collage postings. It’s Buchanan’s Graduation Party! At basketball games I would often find myself near Buchanan’s mom, I never stay in one spot too long but I like talking to her. She asked if I would shoot this party and I was happy do it. It was held at Alta Vista Country Club and family came from all over, Tennessee and beyond! Buchanan played bongos with his band, and then a little bit on his viola. I like that shot above, it reminds me of Abbey Road. After that he roasted his band and some friends, very eloquent. I say roasted, but it was more that he acknowledged having them and what they bring in his life. He thanked family for coming and then mom lightly embarrassed him with a roast of her own, also fantastic. We shot a few gazebo shots to and shut that party down!
