2023 El Dorado Football JOSH

Here’s Josh, and like Mitchell he played in the trenches on both sides of the ball. On defense he played a tackle spot and on offense he played center. As center he was actually hiking the ball to his cousin Brady! They’ll likely be lining up together for a few more years. Josh took on a leader role early in the season, probably during summer camp actually. I was at one game where Coach Hammersmith called him out, “We need a big play Sugar!” and on the next play he got that sack pictured below. It was pretty cool. I’ve shot the three Sugar boys many times in flag football, baseball, and soccer. I even got Jake in golf before he graduated, but tackle football has a grip on them now. Ryan decided to play on after high school and Josh is a natural, he’s got great hands too. The other team aims for him during onside kicks thinking a lineman will flub the reception but Josh is steady as a rock. Here is his 2023 Freshman Football Gallery (CLICK). B
