2024 El Dorado Lacrosse SOPHIA

Sophia! Often we will shoot the team photos before the season starts or at least before I get to any games. My first impressions of the girls is with their hair and make up all proper and in Sophia’s case, a pair of cute glasses. Well she looks different once the ball is dropped. Her hair gets tied back, she exchanges the glasses for a face mask and pops in her mouthguard - which barely hides the snarl! One of my favorite shots from the season is the last one below, Sophia standing her ground and delivering a crosscheck sending the Yorba Linda girl’s ball into the air. Some games defense doesn’t have much to do but Sophia was really busy at the Uni (black jersey) game, she had a few forced fumbles and carried the ball a couple of times with plenty of racket movement.
